Keep your camera ready, as this beautiful drive offers opportunities to enjoy breathtaking scenery and, if we're lucky, spot some of Alaska's incredible wildlife.Upon arrival at Chena Hot Springs Resort, we'll have time to browse the charming gift shops and explore the Activity Center before visiting the world-famous Aurora Ice Museum. Here you'll marvel at stunning ice sculptures and, if you're 21 or older, you can enjoy the famous appletini served in a handcrafted ice glass an experience that's as memorable as it is delicious.Next, we'll visit the kennels for an interactive meet-and-greet with the mushers and their incredible Alaskan Huskies. Learn about the history and tradition of dog mushing, ask questions, and meet these amazing athletes up close.Please note: This is not a dog mushing tour. It is an educational and interactive experience with the mushers and their dogs.When you're ready for lunch, you can enjoy a delicious meal at the Chena Hot Springs Restaurant, offering a unique dining experience surrounded by Alaska's natural beauty.After lunch, it's time to unwind in the resort's famous natural hot springs. Relax in the warm mineral-rich waters while taking in the peaceful mountain scenery one of Alaska's most rejuvenating experiences.As we make our scenic return to Fairbanks, we'll continue watching for wildlife and pause for memorable photo opportunities whenever possible.Whether you're soaking in the hot springs, exploring a world made entirely of ice, meeting Alaska's legendary sled dogs, or simply enjoying the beauty of the drive, the Chena Day Adventure is a day filled with unforgettable memories and authentic Alaskan experiences.

Your adventure begins with convenient pickup from your hotel or Airbnb within the Fairbanks city limits. As we journey toward Chena Hot Springs Resort, your guide will share stories about Interior Alaska while you enjoy the scenic drive through the wilderness. Keep yur eyes open you may even spot some of Alaska's incredible wildlife along the way.

Upon arrival, we'll visit the world-famous Aurora Ice Museum, where you'll experience remarkable ice sculptures and, if you're 21 or older, have the opportunity to purchase the famous appletini served in a handcrafted ice glass.

If you've chosen to enjoy dinner at Chena Hot Springs Resort, you'll have time to dine at the resort's restaurant before heading to the hot springs. Please note: Dinner is optional and is not included in the tour price.

Next, relax and soak in the resort's natural mineral hot springs while surrounded by Alaska's beautiful landscape a truly unforgettable experience.

After your soak, we'll meet back up and head to carefully selected viewing locations chosen for their excellent opportunities to experience the Aurora Borealis. Away from much of the city light, you'll have the chance to admire Alaska's spectacular night skies, search for the Northern Lights, and capture beautiful photographs to remember your adventure.

Each guest receives one complimentary bottled water during the tour. Guests are responsible for bringing their own towel for the hot springs.

Depending on the day, timingm and guest interests, we may include additional hidden gems and scenis stops that larger tour companies often miss.

Unlike many Northern Lights tours that remain in a single location all night, our experience is designed with flexibility in mind. We begin the evening in the comfort of a warm, welcoming lodge, where you can relax while learning about the science, legends, and beauty of the Northern Lights. Your guide will also teach you how to photograph the aurora, whether you're using a smartphone or a professional camera.

Throughout the evening, you'll enjoy complimentary hot cocoa, hot apple cider, coffee, tea, bottled water, fresh cookies, and a special Alaskan treat while staying warm and comfortable as you wait for nature's greatest show.

When the Northern Lights begin to dance across the sky, we'll head outside to experience them together. Photography is included, so you'll have beautiful keepsake photos of your Alaskan adventure.
