Behind it All

- Gina -

Hi, I’m Gina, and before I ever became a tour guide, I spent years in the medical field. That chapter of my life taught me patience, compassion, and how important it is to make sure no one ever feels like they’re slowing everyone down or becoming a burden. I’ve carried that with me into every tour I lead. We move at the pace of the experience, not just the clock.

I’m also a traveler at heart, and I’ve never loved those “go, go, go” tours where you’re rushed from one stop to the next before you’ve even had a chance to take it all in. I want you to stop. Look around. Laugh. Taste something. Hear the story. Take the picture. Actually be there.

Growing up in an Italian family, I was taught that the more of your senses you connect to a moment, the more deeply that memory stays with you. That idea has become a huge part of how I guide. I don’t want Alaska to simply be somewhere you visited. I want something you experienced here to become one of those core memories you’re still talking about years from now.

I also have a special place in my heart for solo travelers. Early in my guiding career, I saw too many people have their adventures canceled simply because they were traveling alone. That never sat right with me. You were brave enough to take the trip, and I believe you deserve the experience just as much as anyone else.

I’m passionate, a little adventurous, and probably happiest when I’m telling a good story or discovering somewhere new. I’ve always believed home can be found in people just as much as places. Maybe that’s why I traded the medical field for tour guiding—I still get to take care of people, just with a much better view.

the Vision to Life

- Tasha -

Hi, my name is Tasha. I met Gina over 20 years ago when I lived in Alaska. I currently live in Tennessee, and am the mom to a soon to be Navy Cadet.

While I no longer live in Alaska I have never forgotten the absolute majesty of the state and still think of it as my second home.

- Savy -

Originally from California, I traded city life for Alaska after falling in love with Fairbanks on a trip, moving up on my own to chase the Northern Lights and immerse myself in my new home. Now happily settled here with my husband and our dogs, I found my true passion in tour guiding—sharing local stories, teaching guests about Alaska's unique culture, and connecting with travelers from around the globe.

- Brayden -

Hi, I’m Brayden! If I’m not working, you’ll probably find me snowmachining, dirt biking, four-wheeling, fishing, hiking, or hanging out with my friends. My brother and I have also somehow turned hiking into a very serious competition to see who can find the biggest and coolest stick along the trail—because apparently just hiking normally isn’t enough.

Fun fact about me: my favorite color is pink. I’m confident enough to admit it, and honestly, pink just looks better on me anyway.

- Tristen -

Hi, I’m Tristen! As an introvert, my favorite thing about Alaska is the endless space to disappear into the outdoors. When I’m not snowboarding or detailing our tour fleet with my music turned up, I’m usually hiking with my brother Brayden—where we remain locked in an intense, highly unofficial competition for the coolest stick.
